Emily Thomas, the young English woman linked to Tom Cruise, already has a boyfriend.
While it
has been speculated that the 53-year-old actor is so smitten with his
22-year-old assistant that he is considering asking her to become his
fourth wife, Emily has revealed that she is already loved up.
The pretty brunette changed her profile picture on Facebook to a snap of herself and Alex Roberts, her 25-year-old boyfriend.
Emily and
Alex, the director of a carpentry firm from Ashford, Middlesex, have
been dating for five months after meeting on the Mission Impossible:
Rogue Nation set.
Friends
and family were quick to comment on The Facebook picture with her
47-year-old mother Nicola Thomas, writing: 'Two beauties! Love you both
loads and so proud of you both. Alex it looks like a star has dropped on
your head - star-stuck!! Xxxxxxx.'
Other
friends joked about reports of Emily's relationship with Tom with one
writing: 'He looks different in the movies........x' and another
referencing the numerous pictures of Emily with Tom by writing: 'This is
the best picture of you both that I've seen in the last few days .
Gorgeous. Xxx'
Another quipped: 'I thought she was engaged Al?'
Not quite what it seems:Tom Cruise was said to

The picture was taken during an Italian getaway the pair took in April, as they enjoyed sushi and cocktails in Rome.
They also spent some time in Venice during the romantic break.
A source said: 'It's still early days between Emily and Alex but they're already pretty close.
'They've been very public with their relationship, so reports concerning Tom will come as a surprise to pals.'
And
although Emily has been jetting around the globe with Tom while working
as his assistant, her doting boyfriend flew out to Atlanta, Georgia to
spend time with her on the set of Mena.
He spent a
long weekend with Emily there recently and shared a picture of them
kissing on his Facebook page, along with the caption: 'Just had an
amazing long weekend in Atlanta !!! With Emily Thomas. now on route
back home! Thanks for having me.'
Emily's
decision to make her Facebook profile picture an image of her and Alex
comes after increased speculation that Tom was smitten with her.
Cruise - previously married to Katie Holmes, Nicole Kidman and Mimi Rogers - was said to have been mesmorised by Emily.
The
brunette is said to hail from a 'very ordinary family' though she was
raised in a £1.1million property in Hertfortshire, owned by her banker
father, the Sunday Express.
After school, Emily went off to Quest Secretarial & Business Training where she completed a diploma before pursuing film.
Tom and
Emily met when she was hired as Cruise's on-set assistant for Rogue
Nation, the fifth installment of his Mission Impossible franchise, due
out next week.
And he was so impressed that he asked her to work with him on his next movie Mena.
'Tom was so impressed with her, he made it clear he wanted her to work with him on all his upcoming projects,' it was claimed.
In November, UsWeekly reported that he had a 'crush' on the pretty brunette.
'He's always flirting with her,' a source maintained. 'Most people on the film have noticed how into her he is.'
'He would only leave her side long enough to shoot his scenes, then he'd be right back by her side,' said a source.
Another source added, 'She's super caring with him. And as his assistant, she makes sure his every need is met.'
Mena
recently wrapped and soon after the two went to Morocco where, according
to Star, he was scouting locations for his next Mission: Impossible
movie.
It was also noted that she will be working with the star when he shoots his next Jack Reacher movie.
